The purpose of this notice is to inform you of and request your nomination for the New York State Funeral Directors Association (the “Association”) board officer positions to be filled at the 2019 Annual Meeting.

ASSOCIATION BOARD OF DIRECTOR ELECTIONS

In accordance with the bylaws, the following Association officer positions will be filled at the 2019 Annual Meeting:

  • President-Elect
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer

Officers elected for the above seats at the 2019 Annual Meeting shall hold office for a one (1) year term.

NOMINATION PROCESS

You may fax the completed form to (518) 452-8667 or send it by mail to the New York State Funeral Directors Association Committee on Nominations, c/o Executive Office, 1 South Family Drive, Albany, N.Y. 12205 - Attention: 2018 Elections.

Faxed nominations should be confirmed by telephone (518) 452-8230 or 1-800-291-2629.

Per the Association bylaws, qualified candidates for an Association board officer position must have served at least one (1) year on the Association board of directors within the past five (5) years.

All nominations must be received by the Association by March 22, 2019.
