We are seeking a "Second In-Command" person to assist the General Manager and champion the day-to-day operations of running a successful funeral home.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Arrange and conduct funeral and memorial services in a professional, organized and caring manner
  • Ensure adherence to all professional, municipal, provincial/state and federal licensing authority, regulations and rules applicable to the provision of funeral services
  • Perform embalming, preparation and casketing of loved ones for last visitations and viewing for families' final goodbye.
  • Available for removals during business hours.
  • Perform administrative duties to include preparing documents, answering phones, and performing other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Good driving record and must provide a current, valid driver’s license
  • High level of compassion and integrity
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficient in computer skills and funeral home software
  • Professional and team player
  • Compensation is 45,000 to 70,000- great perks too
